We have just briefly mentioned above that even more later on there were no conversation on tourism development in Mongolia. This in particular has been linked with the limited expansion of the foreign relations of the country due to and dependent on political situation and conditions. This why the tourism and traveling has been closed for many years in the country, only a few tourists were coming from the former socialist countries and certain number of hunters from western countries were allowed to come obtaining a license for hard currency payment and they went on for hunting rare animals and returned back. Perhaps the hunting trophy they had shot in the country had been attracting the anxiety and catching the eyes of the pending hunters from the exhibits of the World Game Fairs without leaving them hopeless. Even now the well – known foreign hunters of the world haven’t cut their way to Mongolia yet.

At the present in Mongolia the sector of tourism and traveling has developed and extended beyond our imagination and expectations. Here in the light of the above mentioned, we have to point out again that magnetic power attracting the eyes and attention of hunters and tourists lays in the prime and pristine nature of Mongolia that had become extremely rare in the entire world.

The wide range of northern taiga forest, western highest peaks permanently snow-capped mountains and the eastern wide steppe, in the extreme south, Gobi desert are the beauty of nature both fauna and floras attract every aligners. Thus , the specific places of natural beauty and spectacular structure, as well as that are remarkably attractive and now the protected or reserve land. Even the initial world’s official protected area Bogd Khan Mountain borders with Ulaanbaatar city – the capital of the country. Mongolia can be considered as one of the few countries where the number of scarce wildlife and hunting animals are equally kept.

There are deer, elk, roe – deer, musk – deer wild boar and bear in the forest and taiga, in the branch mounts of Mongol Altai, especially in the extreme high rocks and peaks, argali, wild goat and sheep snow leopard are graze in cattle, and gazelle, saiga and black – tailed gazelle in the Gobi – steppe. It is not unusual when the dust raises in the Gobi mirage – it is a herd of wild ass fleeing in a trail of dust scared of the appearance of travelers. There are rare wild animals including gobi bear – mazaalai and takhi – the wild horse of the World Red Book in the Great Gobi protected area. Maybe it is redundant, if we mention here fox, corsac, wolf and marmot that are found everywhere in both Gobi and Khangai areas. Also there are over 400 species of birds. Fresh water lakes and rivers are rich for a variety of fish.

Though the summer does not last long in Mongolia, for it has wide range of compound territory of Gobi- Khangai, there are extreme rich floras, wide range of pasture, including fruit, berries and herbs. As the evidence of the wide territory, in occasions, you hardly see anyone or any household while passing through the gobi –steppe road on car. The cattle and stocks pasture everywhere in the valleys, sometimes one or two gers are seen in the mountain valley, while you visit any of those gers and you will easily feel the hospitality of nomads and their lifestyle. Therefore, any foreigner, even visits Mongolia just once, does not leave Mongolia not mentioning nor admiring hospitality and straight – forward qualities. Maybe you have heard that a million of 2.6 million population of Mongolian lives in Ulaanbaatar, its capital.

We do not doubt that the traditional culture of nomads surely attract you. The Mongolian language is considered as Altai descended language. 80% of Mongolians are of Buddhist religion and there also Shamanisms and Muslims. You may observe that the Christian religion is being also introduced. The human right to belief is legislated from far ages of Chinggis Khan.
If you visit the biggest temples such as the Gandan –Tegchielen, Ulaanbaatar; the Erdene Zuu, which was built on the remains of the ancient capital of Mongolia Khar Khorum as well as the Amarbayasgalant located in the northern area of Mongolia, you will see the gather of hundreds of lamas and priests and be familiar with the great heritage of the Buddhism seeing Buddhist regulations and admiring the precious ancient sculpture or portrait of goddess that show the ingenuity of the ancient artists. The Goddess Megjid Janraisig in the Temple of Gandan Tegchilen is 26.5 meter giant standing sculpture that is gilded and weighed 20 tons. Mongolia is one of the peace country in the world.
